(Almost) Two years have gone so fast.. In this short yet meaningful period, I have learnt a lot of things. Be it in life or academic wise, I feel that I have been enlightened. I made many new friends, tasted how it’s like being one of the top students in class once again, matured as I faced life’s challenges and all.
I have gained a newer perspective on my school too – It’s Time to Excel. Some of you may be mocking now, thinking that only the incapable will end up in this school. But lemme tell you this – It’s not how fast you get there. It’s the process that counts.
If you were to ask me if I ever regretted coming to this school, I will answer without any hesitation – No, I don’t regret it at all. I admit, I felt very disheartened and down when I got the posting initially. But it wasn’t the end of the world, was it? In life, there are bound to be things that happen to us which we do not like. Like what they say – When life throws you lemons, make lemonade. Therefore, I made the best out of my two years of education here and I must say, it has been a blast.
The thought of graduation leaves me with mixed feelings. On one side, I’m happy to graduate and move on to further my studies, open another chapter of my life. On the other hand, I’m sad to leave my great bunch of classmates; we may not have time to meet up in the future, we may not be as close when we move on.
In the next chapter of my life, I hope to retain that same old bond I have with my mates as well as further my studies in the polytechnic (if I can). Though I really can’t bear to part with my nonsense pals, life has to move on, hasn’t it?
Here’s wishing those who are graduating too; Good Luck in whatever you do in the future and may you excel in things you put your heart to. Promise me this.. That when we see each other on the street someday, remember to say Hi.
